Busy-Busy-Busy

I love being busy! I was commissioned to make a paper sack journal for Christmas - Gothic and dark! I can't wait to get started! I had to take a food item that started with the letter M to a baby shower at work so I made a delicious and simple Marshmallow fruit dip -
1 - 8 oz. jar of marshmallow creme
1 - 8 oz. cream cheese softened at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
Blend together with a hand mixer - chill one hour
serve with fruit, brownies, cookies, whatever you like!
Lastly I am stating on my Holiday list for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! So much to make, and buy and sooo little time!!

I made Devils Food chocolate cupcakes with vanilla bean filling and white icing. It was a lot of fun, they didn't turn out perfect but they sure were good! Life is short, if there is something you have been wanting to try then get of your keester and do it!! PS If anyone has a great qourmet filling recipe for cupcakes send them to me so I can give them a try! Thanks!

Fall is in the air and it's the perfect time for soup! Here is an easy Taco soup recipe that is as delicious as it is easy! If you want to trim the fat substitute Turkey burger for the hamburger, use one can of Hormel Turkey with beans chilli - it is a low fat chilli with lots of fiber and protein in place of regular canned chilli , Use low fat mozzarella cheese in place of regular cheese, and use baked tortilla chips in place of fried tortilla chips.

Autumn Taco Soup
1 pound of hamburger
2 Tbsp. dried onions
1 - 30 ounce can of chilli
1 bottle 24 oz. salsa, mild or hot
1 can of corn optional
1 package of tortilla chips
1 small can of sliced olives
1 Cup grated cheese - colby jack

Brown hamburger with dried onion in large skillet. Drain
add chilli salsa and corn
simmer on low heat until heated through.
Serve over tortilla chips , top with olives and grated cheese
